Vedic Summer Tapestry Blanket

Our Vedic Collection consists of woven blankets created from my original paintings and inspired by Ayurvedic plants of the Himalayan foothills in Northern India. The design draws on memories and family folklore from my childhood, where stories of these plants and their medicinal qualities are part of daily life. My father, who studied agriculture and forestry, built herbal nurseries and always taught me the importance of utilizing nature's bounty. Woven in a traditional tapestry design, the blanket carries both texture and meaning. 

Vedic Summer has a soft beige base. A twisting vine runs through the center, surrounded by flowers that reflect the quiet strength of herbs used in warmer months. It feels calm, grounding, and protective, like the summer stories I grew up with. 

Both tapestry and blanket, it is made to evoke the calm and natural medicinal properties of the Old World. It is woven with memory, comfort, and story, carrying the feeling of plants, air, and light, from the Himalayan foothills onto your couch, bed, or wall.

• Woven from a blend of cotton and recycled cotton blend, it is made to last and is an eco-friendly sustainable product, reducing waste. 
• Soft, breathable fabric.
• Each piece is woven and made in the USA, supporting local businesses. 
• No special treatment needed. Safe for machine wash / dry. 
• The fabric softens with each wash, increasing its coziness the more it's used.
